And so it begins! See you soon Dec. 23, 2011!!

Well...now you know why I haven't blogged much lately. :) Right after San Fran, I came home on the 25th of April and Kev was there. I told him that we should take a test together. I use to want it to be surprised, but I thought it would be something fun for us to do together. I had a couple pregnancy tests from my sister (she bought me some in anticipation) :) I felt like I was, but I was always so scared to take the test because I was nervous it would say that I wasn't and I'd be disappointed. So I waited as long as I could. As soon as we started the two lines showed up instantly. So we ran out of the room, just in case they faded away.

And then as soon as we walked back in...this is what we saw....

And we celebrated with a lot of kissy kissy. haha!
The post that I wrote about me running the half marathon in my record time and snowboarding all in the same day...I guess I could add "pregnant" to that list also. As my Mom says, "this baby will push me to where I didn't think I could go!" :) It really hasn't hit me yet. I think Kev realizes it more then me. It's just for 4 1/2 years we've been saying "When I'm pregnant" so now that that time is here, it doesn't feel real. Not sure when it will happen, but we are so excited for this new chapter in our life. We had our first ultrasound at 8 weeks and saw the heart beat. Our pictures are funny because in one, the babe looks like a sea horse and the other one it looks like a mouse. lol. I'm 11 weeks today and our baby is due Dec. 23rd, 2011....so it is due 7 days before our 5 year anniversary!! Christmas is always a special time for us...and this just adds to it!! I couldn't think of a more precious way of celebrating Christ's birth then to experience it so close to it. We feel so extremely blessed to have this baby in our lives and so extremely grateful that our Heavenly Father has trusted us with His sweet child. We are also excited to make our siblings aunts and uncles and our parents Grandparents...(again in some cases) :). So grateful for the example of Motherhood and Fatherhood in our lives! This definitely has been and will be an exciting and adventurous year!!

Ahhhhhhhhh congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

You are about to have more fun than you ever thought you would!

We had Peyton when we had been married for 4 1/2 years and I was scared because life was so comfortable and easy. But, I can't express how much I love my baby and how much fun and how great life is with her. Can't wait for Christmas to come and see what you have, etc!

BTW, just throwing this out there, but waiting to find out what we had was sooooo much fun. But, whatever you do will be great. :)

I LOVE how you guys were pretty speachless when you found out you were pregnant! And then you wanted to take a 2nd one just to make sure! LOL. Thats exactly how it was when I found out I was pregnant with Hailee. I knew I wanted to be pregnant but it just felt so sureal when the test really was positive! Cant wait to see your updates during your pregnancy! You are going to be one cute pregnant momma! oh... lol....I also ran a half marathon and a few days later I found out I was pregnant. LOL.
