Adilyn's Baby Blessing 7/1/12

Our good friends, Cody and Amanda Anderson, blessed their baby girl Adilyn Jordan on Sunday, July 1st. We were so happy to be a part of it! Adilyn is named after her uncle (our good friend that passed a year ago)...A.J Rooks. It was an emotional day, but we know AJ was looking down on this sweet baby girl and is so proud to be her Uncle! We'll definitely be telling her a lot about her Uncle. Amanda and Cody moved back to Utah from Tennessee.

The Dad's that have their baby girls wrapped around their fingers! Z and Adilyn are 3 months apart and talk to each other all the time. lol

Our Baby Girl

Keven served a LDS mission in Auckland New Zealand. My middle name is Marie. There are a lot of "lynn's" in my family. We wanted our daughter to have a little part of her Mommy and Daddy in her name...that's how we came up with "Zealynn Marie." We have never heard of the name before, but we thought we would see if anything came up on the internet...which we were sure there was something. This is part of what it says about "Zealynn" and we thought it would be fitting for our baby Z:

As Zealyn you are rather serious-minded, responsible, and stable.
You have the gift of tact and diplomacy, and possess a charming, easy-going nature which endears you to others.
You have a serious desire to understand the heart and mind of everyone, and could be very effective in a career or in volunteer work where you are handling people and serving in a humanitarian way.
