To the Men I love!

I haven't done a post like this before, but I figured since the month of February is both of my father's birthday and valentine's day....I thought, "hey, why not!" SO here I go... I LOVE THE MEN IN MY LIFE! (alright...i'm done. haha jk!) I am so in love with Keven, I can't explain it. The way he looks at me. The way he smiles at me. The way he dances to "single ladies." :) I just love everything about him and I am so grateful to have him in my life. I've never known anyone that sees the good in everyone. I mean, seriously, he genuinely seeks the good and never has anything bad to say about anyone. I have learned so much and he has definitely helped me see what this life is about. He is my everything and I love him to pieces! I mean, really... all those who really know him...how can you not love him?!

As today is my Father in laws birthday, I felt it would be perfect to tell him how much I love him. He is like no other man. His humor, his smile, his heart...they are all genuine. I am so grateful that he is my father in law. I have truly been blessed. I remember the first time I met him. It's when Keven says that he knew he was in love with me... We went to Keven's intramural basketball championship game. I saw him and I just went right up to him and started talking away. Keven couldn't believe I talked with him for as long as I did. Just to tell you a little bit about Bruce...I learned the kind of father Bruce was when Keven and I were dating. We were living in Logan and his dad was home for a couple days before going out of town for work. He drove up to Logan from Roosevelt (which is about 4 1/2 hours one way) to just see a regular city league basketball game. Then he had to drive back because he had work the next day. THAT is an amazing man! He did that a couple times, just to see his son. My heart just got so full, when he drove out to help us move from there and then drove back that day. I am so grateful for that example my wonderful husband has of his dad. I love you Bruce!
Last, but definitely not least...is my wonderful Dad. Anyone that has even talked to my dad can say that he has the most amazing attitude on this earth! I love just being able to talk to my dad about life. I love when he just calls to see how I'm doing and making sure that I am happy and still have the right attitude about what this life is about. My dad never ceases to amaze me. His testimony is like none I've ever known. He has changed more people's lives than anyone could imagine. For those of you that don't know, my dad has been the young single adult Bishop for the past 4 years. (give or take.) I've never seen more people change their lives and have more hope in their lives than with having my dad as their bishop. (Of course I have to give credit to my mom also for all the time she puts with the young adults!) There have been so many occassions that I just felt so blessed to have my dad in my life! He is such an AMAZING person and I am so proud to be his daughter.

These three men have impacted my life so much and continually to do so everyday. I am so blessed to have not only these three men, but my two brothers and my 4 brother in laws. They all have something special about them that makes me so grateful to have them in my life. I am so grateful for the way they all honor their priesthood and are such an example to all those around them. I love you all so much!

Hey Jess, it's me Liz. I was so excited to read about your Dad. Good 'ol Brother Kirk. I don't think I ever thanked him for being such a wonderful seminary teacher. I often reflected on his lessons while I was on a mission. I love your family!

Jessica,
You are lovely...what you said about each of the men in your life touched me deeply. I don't know your Dad, but, he must be awesome if he has such a lovely, completely beautiful daughter such as you!! But, you put into words what most people feel knowing both Bruce and Keven. They are two of my most favorite men on the planet...somewhere just past my own Dad, my brothers Bill and Cooper, My wonderful, awesome, manly-man Todd and my 4 amazing sons!!..Wow..what a big giant plate of wonderful men in life!! Thanks for sharing your love and appreciation...One of your favorite aunties...Pam
